Welfare Recipients Have Outnumbered Workers Since 2011

In 2011, there were 108,592,000 people collecting benefits from one or more programs within the welfare program.  By contrast, there were 101,716,000 people working full time.  These numbers come from the US Census Bureau.  That means there are 1.07 people collecting benefits for every 1 full time worker.
