It’s being reported that heavily-armed female fighters have joined in the fight with the men of the Turkish Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) against ISIS. These women soldiers from the PKK are on the hunt for ISIS militants who kidnapped 3,000 innocent women and girls in Iraq.
The girls and women kidnapped by ISIS, over the past two weeks, will either be forced into marriage, sold as sex slaves or shot if they refuse to convert to Islam. All these aspects are undoubtedly terrifying to these innocent women and girls.
On Friday, I wrote of an executive order signed by Obama that allows for the detention of Americans with symptoms of certain respiratory diseases. At first, it was thought that was due to Ebola. It would seem, however, that it may be the result of all those illegals Obama is setting loose in the country. According to a report at CBS Pittsburgh, there are a number of illegal immigrants who have been released into the country by the Obama administration that are sick — really sick.
In fact, Shawn Moran, the vice president and spokesman for the National Border Patrol Council, told KDKA Radio’s Mike Pintek that some agents have been hospitalized for — get this — respiratory diseases they believe came from their job.
The downing of the Malaysian airliner MH-17 over the Ukraine has shown the weakness of Europe and the U.S. on what to do and on Sunday, the Herald Sun of Australia reported that the west has made Putin into a monster and the weakness of European countries and the Obama administration is to blame for it.
Andrew Bolt of the Herald Sun said that it is Putin’s Russia that supplied those rebels with the necessary arms along with the BUK SA-11 missile launcher that is suspected of shooting down the commercial aircraft and that Russia may have been the one to supply the sophisticated SA-11 ground to air missile. Here we go again. Ta-Nahesi Coates, who frequently writes on racial inequality, has penned a long (very long) essay that is featured on the cover of the current “Atlantic.” The title is “The Case for Reparations,” and the teaser neatly summarizes the 16,000-word shot across the bow that follows:
Two hundred fifty years of slavery. Ninety years of Jim Crow. Sixty years of separate but equal. Thirty-five years of racist housing policy. Until we reckon with our compounding moral debts, America will never be whole.
