The non-profit Campaign for Liberty (C4L), founded by former presidential candidate and U.S. Congressman Ron Paul, is fighting a battle with the IRS’s demand that it reveal its donor list to the them, Campaign for Liberty reported on Wednesday.
The IRS has already levied a fine of $12, 900 against the non-profit group, through a letter dated March 24, 2014, for withholding their donor information from their annual 990 filing and the interest will accrue every day April 14, 2014 if the group continues its refusal to pay the fine. The Republican National Committee (RNC) filed a lawsuit against the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on Tuesday for withholding records sought by the RNC’s 2013 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.
In released statement to Republican members through email, the RNC stated that the initial request, dated on May 21, 2013, they sought to review documents and correspondence related to criteria used for reviewing and approving 501(c)(4) tax-exempt organizations. Continue reading →

Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy’s decades-long battle against the federal government over grazing rights continues, but it may get worse over a leaked memo that was uncovered in 2010 that reveals an Obama Administration land grab initiative that may spread across other western states, possibly causing the same showdown between landowners, ranchers, and the federal government.
The Tea Party Command Center on Saturday uncovered the lost news report where former Republican Senator Jim DeMint raised the alarm back in 2010 of a leaked memo about a planned, 10 million acre Western land grab by the Obama administration of 17 sites in 11 western states.
It seems that no matter what, the Obama administration will find a way to either slam or blame George W. Bush.
It happened again, this time in a discussion about whether or not Putin is listening to Obama. As Twitchy noted, Bush said he got a “sense of [Putin's] soul” when he first met the Russian leader in 2001.
When will actor Samuel L. Jackson learn to keep his yap shut unless he’s reciting lines prepared for him by a Hollywood script writer? When he shares his own heartfelt opinion, he creates uncomfortable situations for his fellow liberals, who are then forced to explain why what he said wasn’t so bad. For example, When he weighed in on not-guilty verdict in the George Zimmerman murder trial last August by announcing that it’s “open season” on young black men, the liberal media spent days mopping up after him.
Recently, he was at it again. In an interview appearing in February’s Ebony Magazine:
[T]he 63-year-old revealed the reason why he casted [sic] his vote for President Barack Obama. “I voted for Barack because he was black,” Jackson confessed.”Cuz that’s why other folks vote for other people — because they look like them.”
… “That’s American politics, pure and simple,” Jackson said. “[Obama's] message didn’t mean sh*t to me.” “When it comes down to it, they wouldn’t have elected a n-word.”
The Republican Party is doing well in recent polling. The Obamacare implosion has left the party in position to make significant gains in this year’s midterm elections. The nonpartisan Rothenberg Political Report shows the Republicans to be competitive in at least seven Senate seats held by Democrats. Only six seats are needed for the Republicans to win control of the Senate.
The recent Republican success is not purely by strategy. It can be said to be as much or more in spite of the actions of Republicans than because of them. For example, the most memorable strategic move by the Republican Party in the past year was the drive to defund the Affordable Care Act. The strategy resulted in a shutdown of the federal government that caused Republican approval ratings to plummet to levels normally inhabited by used car dealers and lawyers that advertise on daytime television. The shutdown likely sealed the fate of Virginia gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli.
On Wednesday, the Center for Security Policy announced to the media and the Paulding County Republican Examiner that a planned release of an open letter to President Obama urging that critical intelligence collection capabilities of NSA be preserved and not be compromised any further.
The release will take place tomorrow, January 16, 2014 at 2p.m. at the Bloomberg Room, National Press Club in Washington, DC. Continue reading →
Obama’s EPA has declared that the city of Riverton, Wyoming, with over 10,000 people is no longer part of the United States and have given it to the Indians. In essence, all Americans living in Riverton are no longer living in the United States and are not eligible for state or federal services. They can also be tossed off land they bought and paid for since their deeds do not have to be recognized by the Indians. The Indians have argued for years that they should get full ownership of 1 million more acres of land because it should be part of their reservation.
The problem is that congress decided the borders in legislation passed in 1905. If this ruling is allowed to stand, the EPA can arbitrarily take land away from its owners and give it to anyone they choose to. The governor of Wyoming, Matt Mead is threatening to refuse to recognize the EPA’a authority.
