Liberal bumper sicker: “In Obama We Trust”

Bumper sticker: In Obama we Trust

While cruising around on Facebook, I happened across a photo of a bumper sticker that made me do a double-take.

“In Obama We Trust,” the sticker read, a clear reference to the national motto, “In God We Trust.”

“What?” I asked myself.  Surely this must be a joke.

But as it turns out, it wasn’t a joke, and yes, there are such stickers out there.

A quick Google search revealed that one can purchase the following from Zazzle.com for “only” 3.95 per sticker.

Since before he was inaugurated, the left has attempted to deify President Obama to make him appear as something other than mortal.

In November 2010, a Newsweek cover dubbed Obama “god of all things,” using a pose reminiscent of the Hindu deity Shiva:

Understand, Obama is not a “god,” he is a mere mortal occupying a temporary position of power.  Hopefully, American voters will remind him of that in November.
