Iran claims to ‘have thousands of revolutionary Muslims’ ready to strike America

On Saturday one of Iran’s top commanders of their Revolutionary Guard boasted plans are in the works to attack America from within should the U.S. attack them.

In an interview on Iran’s state run television Brig. Gen. Hossein Salami said: “The US military option is of no care to us. They can use this option but should take the responsibility for its destructive consequences too.”

He added: “The US can have different scenarios against Iran, including air, missile and limited ground incursion; all these scenarios have been identified, all possibilities have been studied and we have complete intelligence superiority in all these cases and operational strategies.”

Brig. Gen. Hossein Salami is the Lieutenant Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC). In the interview he underlined Iran’s full preparedness for
any possible US attack. He said Washington should take responsibility
for the dire consequences of any aggression, according to Fars News Agency.

Salami also said:

America, with its strategic ignorance, does not have a full  understanding of the power of the Islamic Republic. We have recognized  America’s military strategy, and have arranged our abilities, and have  identified centers in America that will create a shock.

He promised that if the U.S. was bold enough to embark upon using military strikes against Iran, the Islamic Republic would then: “recognize no boundary for its response.” His remarks were in response to recent statements by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.

Kerry said in a interview while in Geneva late last month: “If Iran did not live up to its nuclear commitments under the Geneva deal,” that the military option was still on the table.

There are reports indicating that terrorist Hezbollah forces, which are allies with Iran, have infiltrated America and have mapped out their targets. Salami promised, “We will conduct such a blow in which they will be destroyed from  within.” His warning comes just two weeks after another warning from a high-ranking officer of the Guards.

This is the second warning from a high-ranking IRGC member. Iran’s chief commander, Maj. Gen. Mohammad Jafari, issued his warning on Jan. 24 in response to Kerry’s statements when he was in Geneva. Jafari said:

Your threats to revolutionary Islam are the best opportunity. Muslim leaders for years have been preparing us for a decisive battle. Do you know how many thousands of revolutionary Muslims at the heart of  the Islamic revolutionary groups around the world are awaiting for you to take this option from the table into action?

The senior Iranian commander indicated the U.S. knows that a military option against Iran is not practical. The U.S. has maintained for a while that military action is an option for the White House to deter Iran’s progress with their nuclear program.

Iran has also warned if the U.S. attacks, then they will target 32 American bases in the Middle East and shut off the Strait of Hormuz. An estimated 40 percent of the world’s oil supply passes through the waterway.

Jafari said a direct conflict with America is the “strongest dream of  the faithful and revolutionary men around the world.” Jafari’s statement that it’s the “dream of the faithful” confirms this author’s recent here on CFL that it’s every Islamic extremists’ desire to fly the flag of jihad over the White House.
