IRS demanding Ron Paul’s Campaign for Liberty to release donor list

The non-profit Campaign for Liberty (C4L), founded by former presidential candidate and U.S. Congressman Ron Paul, is fighting a battle with the IRS’s demand that it reveal its donor list to the them, Campaign for Liberty reported on Wednesday.

The IRS has already levied a fine of $12, 900 against the non-profit group, through a letter dated March 24, 2014, for withholding their donor information from their annual 990 filing and the interest will accrue every day April 14, 2014 if the group continues its refusal to pay the fine. The Republican National Committee (RNC) filed a lawsuit against the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on Tuesday for withholding records sought by the RNC’s 2013 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.

In released statement to Republican members through email, the RNC stated that the initial request, dated on May 21, 2013, they sought to review documents and correspondence related to criteria used for reviewing and approving 501(c)(4) tax-exempt organizations. Continue reading

Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy’s decades-long battle against the federal government over grazing rights continues, but it may get worse over a leaked memo that was uncovered in 2010 that reveals an Obama Administration land grab initiative that may spread across other western states, possibly causing the same showdown between landowners, ranchers, and the federal government.

The Tea Party Command Center on Saturday uncovered the lost news report where former Republican Senator Jim DeMint raised the alarm back in 2010 of a leaked memo about a planned, 10 million acre Western land grab by the Obama administration of 17 sites in 11 western states.

When the Cold War ended in 1991, the spread of communism slowed considerably but on Friday, it appears that some Russian Ambassadors are looking forward to a second Cold War through a leaked phone call recording.

The leaked phone call was obtained by The Guardian and released on Friday between Russian Ambassadors, Igor Chubarov, Russia‘s ambassador to Eritrea, is a country in the Horn of Africa near Sudan, and Sergei Bakharev, the ambassador to Zimbabwe and Malawi, although these two ambassadors have not been independently verified at this time that it was them speaking.

Former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain revealed on Monday in an email alert that the cancer center that saved his life has opted out of taking Obamacare (Affordable Care Act) insured patients.

The Robert Powell Center for Medical Ethics at the National Right to Life released a report on Thursday that warns that the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) will not allow consumers to spend what they choose on their own health care, including access to life-saving treatments.

As the March 31, 2014 deadline approaches for open enrollment in the insurance exchanges established by Obamacare, the report, “The Affordable Care Act and Health Care Access in the United States” analyzed four key policy areas of Obamacare and concluded that Obamacare would drastically limit access to life-saving medical treatment under the law. Spending to meet veteran needs in healthcare and benefits will fall short by billions of dollars in the coming years if Congress does nothing to resolve the issue, Matthew M. Burke of the Stars and Stripes reported on Friday.

Multiple veterans’ organizations, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Paralyzed Veterans of America, Disabled American Veterans, and American Veterans released a report, the 28th annual “Independent Budget” that calls for $72.9 billion in additional health, benefits, claims processing and infrastructure spending for the fiscal 2015 budget and would set aside money for future fiscal years.
